Fabulous book. Out of the ordinary and unusual love story/vampire book. Very well written and a big read which had my attention from the beginning. Love the characters and plot. Was juicy, exciting and hated to put down. Wanted to keep reading and reading but didn't want the story to end.

Interview with Barbra E. Ross
I recently sat down with Barbra E. Ross to talk about her life as a writer:
1. Hi Barbra, thanks for granting this interview. What is a day like in the life of a writer?
My day starts planning on what I want to accomplish by the days’ end. Right now it is focused on formatting the third book in my series and getting the plot the way it should be.
2. If you're not writing, what would you be doing?
I work as a nurse in a dialysis clinic. If I am off work and not writing, I enjoy movies, walks and playing PlayStation games.
3. Who are your writing influences?
I love Stephen King, Anne Rice, J.R.R. Tolkien and childhood authors like Madeleine L'Engle and C.S. Lewis. Movies have also been my inspiration for writing. If I could make a book as thrilling and engaging as a film really motivates me.
4. What is your greatest achievement to date?
Publishing my first novel. I never thought I would see the day where my book was on a bookshelf or in the library.
5. If there's one thing you could do over, what would it be?
I would have stayed in New York City. I lived there after high school and had to come home after a few years’ d/t personal issues at home. The only thing I regret is not staying there longer. I thoroughly enjoyed big city life and all that came along with it.

Barbra E Ross lives in Michigan and is a nurse by day, lover of fiction at night. When people ask me what my book is about, I pause a moment because it is not so simple to describe. It is a vampire romance, I say and then, I pray that doesn't scare them away. Because what are books really? I believe that books are a way to escape the daily routines of life.
I wanted to take an ordinary man and put him in fantastic situations. To bring a bit of fantasy down to reality. It is a love story at it's heart. If I can take the reader on a journey and give them a laugh, cry, or simply bring a smile to their face, then it is all worth it. This story helped me through rough times in my life, and I can only hope it will do the same for the reader.
