Wow! Just wow! A true page-turner in every sense of the word!
Non-stop action from start to finish! Vengeance kept me on an exciting roller coaster ride that I didn't want to end. I'm excited to see that there's a book 3 in the series, and I can't wait!
I can't even imagine being in Layla's position, but she's so very brave and calm. Well, after the initial hysterics are over, which is understandable. I'm glad to see that the author wrote her as very human and flawed, a mother willing to do anything to save her child. The author wrote three-dimensional characters that caused this story to have depth and substance. Even the villain is not simplistic; coupled with his religious zeal are some personal desires that complicated his character.
This is the first time I have read Ms. Ami's works, and I must say...superb writing! Well done.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Vengeance. I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire time. Pick it up! You won't be disappointed.
